A “deep transformation” is coming for the Space Force, according to the Secretary of the Air Force. That transformation is necessary because of China’s priority in space. Frank Kendall, 26th Secretary of the Air Force, explains why his theme at the Space Symposium recently was space transformation, and why he’s asking Congress to start innovation programs before he has the budget to pay for them.

Federal agencies are more than a decade into the digital transformation journeys now. Agency leaders say speed is becoming as critical a factor in those transformations as capability. Steve Walters, Vice President of Federal at ServiceNow, says agencies are using a lot of technologies, but he sees a missing link to success.

The Internal Revenue Service will get what it calls a “historic opportunity” to modernize its operations through the Inflation Reduction Act.
