John Meyer – Co-Founder & CEO
John Meyer is a revenue focused and accomplished media professional with extensive experience in building profitable media brands in both the private and public sectors. He has built and overseen all aspects of sales, operations, product development, marketing, editorial and audience development.
John started his career at the WTOP, the top billing radio station in the country. Over his 19 years at the station, John launched and grew both Federal News Radio (Network) and WTOP.com into highly trafficked and profitable media brands. After WTOP, John moved to WJLA TV where he expanded and grew the Government Matters TV program to a 6-day a week program. He most recently was the SVP, Sales operations at Scoop News Group where he helped drive unprecedented revenue growth as well as launching The Daily Scoop Podcast with Francis Rose.
Francis Rose – Co-Founder & Host
Francis Rose is an award-winning broadcaster, journalist, speaker, writer, and host of “Fed Gov Today’. He served as founding host of Scoop News Group’s “Daily Scoop Podcast,” and as SNG’s Vice President of Multimedia Content, from August 2021 through December 2022. Before joining SNG, he hosted “Government Matters” on Washington, DC’s ABC 7 from 2016 to 2021. He was the last live afternoon host on Federal News Radio, hosting “In Depth with Francis Rose” from 2008 to 2015 after joining the station in 2006.
Francis is highly sought-after as a speaker and moderator of high-profile events in the federal community. His guest list on radio, TV, event stages, and podcast platforms has included virtually every important name in the federal government. He has covered all three branches of the federal government as a broadcast journalist since 1998. His nearly 40-year media career includes stops at America’s leading broadcasters, including ABC Radio, CBS Radio, Westwood One, and C-SPAN.
