Watch the video above or listen to a longer interview below:
The Operator Relief Fund is an organization dedicated to supporting service members, veterans, and their families within the Special Operations and Intelligence communities. Their mission is to help these individuals and their loved ones thrive and flourish both during their service and after.
The fund takes a holistic approach to address the various challenges faced by these individuals, including sleep deficiencies, alcohol dependencies, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and psychological issues such as adverse childhood experiences and post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI). The fund refers individuals and their families to specific providers who specialize in addressing these issues and tailors their support based on individual needs.
The organization also recognizes the importance of supporting family members who often experience secondary post-traumatic stress and includes them in their mission.
Ultimately, the Operator Relief Fund aims to establish a credible and verifiable data-driven approach that becomes a standard operating procedure in the healthcare provided to these communities, ensuring timely and effective support for their health and wellness needs.
